RiverTown Family Fun Zone

1. Commitment to Accessibility

RiverTown Family Fun Zone is committed to providing a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all guests, regardless of age, ability, or special needs. We strive to ensure our facilities, attractions, and services are accessible in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable Indiana state laws.

2. Physical Accessibility

Our facility is designed to accommodate guests with mobility, sensory, and other accessibility needs:

  • Accessible Entrances & Exits: Main entryways are wheelchair accessible.

  • Pathways & Play Areas: Public areas are designed for ease of movement, with ramps or level access where possible.

  • Restrooms: ADA-compliant restrooms are available.

  • Seating: Accessible seating is available for guests and companions.

3. Service Animals

We welcome service animals trained to assist guests with disabilities. For the safety of all visitors, service animals must remain under control and on a leash or harness unless doing so interferes with the animal’s duties.

4. Sensory-Friendly Accommodations

We recognize that some guests may require sensory-friendly spaces or reduced stimulation. We offer:

  • A designated quiet area available upon request for guests who may need a break from activity or noise.

  • Periodic Sensory-Friendly Hours with modified lighting, reduced music volume, and adjusted activity pacing.

5. Communication Assistance

Guests who require assistance with communication may request accommodations such as:

  • Written materials in large print upon request

  • Staff assistance in reading or explaining information

  • Permission for personal communication devices and aids

6. Program & Event Accessibility

We work to ensure that all programs, events, and attractions are as accessible as possible. In some cases, certain activities may have physical restrictions for safety reasons. Staff will work to provide alternative participation options whenever feasible.

RiverTown Family Fun Zone is committed to ensuring our website is usable by all visitors, including those relying on assistive technologies.
